Ministry

Dan believes there is no greater office one can hold than that of a husband and father. Since both roles require complicated interplay on many levels, Dan also believes God has provided help through the leading of the Holy Spirit, the counsel of others, and the work of life coaches.

A life coach, much like a sports coach, helps you get the most out of what you want while holding you accountable to your personal goals. Sometimes, a life coach simply reflects your thoughts back to you. However, they can also provide feedback to help you grow, improve, and see a different perspective.

So coaching looks at questions such as, Have you ever felt stuck? Unsure? Unable to take the next step professionally or relationally?  I want you to know you’re not alone. Having a healthy marriage and family is hard work but there are complications and complexities that come in a NeuroDiverse Christian family system.  The message I have for husbands and fathers is to inspire and coach you to become Ephesians 5  servant-leaders.  Through the International Association of NeuroDiverse Christian Marriages, I want to help equip, coach, and educate both NeuroDiverse husbands and fathers and those who counsel or minister to  NeuroDiverse marriages and families.

In His Service,

Rev. Dan Holmes

Ministry

Dr. Holmes seeks to bring restoration and spiritual renewal to individuals and couples facing challenging situations. By combining affordable rates with a desire to glorify God in all that transpires through the counseling/coaching process, she offers life-changing hope to troubled lives. Through the International Association of NeuroDiverse Christian Marriages, LLC she wants to educate and equip others to build effective strategies for NeuroDiverse Christian Marriages.

The theoretical foundation of Dr. Holmes’ counseling minsitry is based on the cognitive-behavioral premise that how one thinks affects one’s behavioral choices. The techniques incorporated thus focus on identifying and monitoring irrational thought patterns and habits and changing those behaviors with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Since Dr. Holmes believes we are physiological, psychological, and spiritual people, Christian principles are blended with compatible psychological theories and techniques in order to promote psychological, relational, and spiritual growth through the counseling/coaching process. While counseling and coaching certainly promote positive transformation, the overall decision to apply various techniques and change is the sole choice and responsibility of each person.

The message I teach is one of hope and freedom and overcoming through the power of Jesus Christ. I believe there is no exclusion clause in Jeremiah 29:11 for hope and a future!

In His Service,
Rev. Stephanie C. Holmes, EdD, MA
